Tue, 31 January 2006 Australia Day Ceremony in Tamworth. Citizenship ceremony, Award of Citizen of the year, Young citizen of the year and Mitchell Brady Encouragement Award, Recorded on my iRiver. As I knew some people, it was a bit teary at times. There is some wonderful talent and people with committment to good works who ask for no money and it is really heartening. The Tamworth Mayor James Treloar gave a speech at the citizenship ceremony to say there is no waiting in queue, that now matter how recently you have become an Australian, you have the same entitlements as everone else.Comments[1] |
Hey just found you on iTunes and great to hear an Aussie voice. My sister has lived in Sydney/Blacktown for 20 years. Her husband was raised in Quirundi. My older brother and I visited New South Wales Easter 2005 and I haved missed it greatly. Please keep up the good work, I'll be listening.
